Satellite c660 wont boot

hi i was wondering if anyone one can shed some light on a problem i have with my c660 it booted fine yesterday but today i cant get it to boot. i have disconnected the bat and held the power button still no joy. when i press the power button i can hear the fan spin and the green light comes on but 5 seconds l8r it dosnt post anything and just switches off. im pretty certain that this must be a hardware problem but thought i would check on here before i start to take it apart

If it has a couple of sticks of ram fitted you could try just one at a time.
