So decided to try satin tubing in my build instead as clear was just too much clear acrylic in the build and it certainly works and breaks things up but I'm having trouble with marking

Not only on bends but also in a couple of other places I'm getting what looks like clear patches in the tubes, I've even had trouble with black marks coming off my bending tools (although they come off with light filing)

What can I do about these clear patches? I would have though they could just be sanded lightly to match the rest but I have no idea what Corsair would have used originally in the factory to be able to match it...

Anyone help or give pointers?

Tubing is Corsair XT hardline clear satin

That tubing looks so nice. When I have to redo mine I will probably go for the satin finish.

I watched a vid on Youtube from GGF events where he sanded normal tubing to give it a frosted look. I would hazard a guess you can sand the spots you need to get it back to the frosted look you like.

13.40 onwards is where he says how he did it.

My suggestion would be some 3000 grit sand paper to give it some texture back. Try on a test piece first of course.
