SatNav Question Re: Maps of Europe

Hello all,

Apologies for posting in GD but didn't really know where else to put this. I'm considering wandering around Europe for a wee bit in the coming months and I've noticed that my Garmin Nuvi 200 has roads for most of Europe but not to the same level of detail as it would have for Ireland and England. Is there any way to enable or download the higher detail maps for the rest of Europe or would this necessitate buying different map packs for each country?

I used my Nuvi 300 on a day trip to France. It had the Europe maps and worked fine in France and Belgium giving routes and local attractions such as shopping and fuel stations were also available to view.

I'm sure you can buy the updated Europe maps and install them to your unit. You can with mine anyway.
