In my local area I cannot recieve Freeview due to our local hospital blocking the signal and I desperately need a freeview like set-up in my room. I've looked at all the options and believe the only option is to purchase a Sattelite PC TV Card but I don't quite understand how it works.
1) Do you get all the standard freeview channels over Sattelite without subscription?
2) We have an old Sky sattelite dish fitted (and positioned) is it as simple as plugging that into a PC Sattelite PCI card and scanning for channels?
3) Are sattelite TV pc cards more expensive than freeview terrestrial ones?
