Saturday delivery is it any good?

I thinking of ordering the NEC widescreen monitor tonight with Saturday delivery the thing is if it does not turn up then I am stuffed as I work the rest of the week and my family has gone on holiday so there is no one in to collect it. Has anyone ever used Saturday delivery and did u get any problems?

Depends on how your rate royal mails special delivery service, my postie decided to rip the flat number off my buzzer and stuff the card under the security door then wrote "no name or number on buzzer" last saturday, still havent had the chance to collect it. :mad:

hmmmm thats not good mabey I should wait untill my family get back so if there is a problem it wont turn in to a big problem.

Had my monitor purchased through OC UK delivered on a Saturday by City Link. Service was excellent. A Bloke just turned-up at 8 am. If you`re ordering now with OC UK I would do it by telephone, so the chap can advice you whether they`ll be able to ship order this w/end or not.

Hmm i just dont know if its worth taking the risk what happens if they dont deliver it on Saturday hmmmmmmm its just because its on THIS WEEK ONLY price

I ordered some stuff at 11pm on a Thursday for a Saturday delivery, it arrived around 9am via City Link. Very good service.

Well thanks for the reply's guys but I think I am going to wait as if it does not turn up or I have to return it or even if I don’t hear the door as I am going out Friday night and will probably be hung over it will very hassling so I am going to wait until the family get back.

I did this with my 2405fpw monitor. Ordered it last Wednesday as it was on special but wanted to be there when the beast turned up. So put in the Saturday delivery option and then bright and early at 8am there was a city link man outside the door

So I would say go for it you will be fine.
