Saturday delivery - item out of stock

Hi all,

Sorry if posting this in the wrong place, but since its out of hours I thought best place for a quick response here. I will also post in the order queries forum too now, but again its out of hours.

I have an order due for Saturday delivery, and have only noticed when got in from work that I have an email saying an item is out of stock, and to call before 4pm or they may be a delay.

I will call OC first thing tomorrow, but have I already missed the boat for a Saturday delivery?

If its one single item then probably, quick way to check is do a dummy order of something around the same price :D select a date and see if you can select saturday, if not then it should arrive for Tuesday.

Providing the item becomes stocked before sunday that is i believe, i haven't ordered anything for saturday before, next day only ;)

Just checked, if you order now, your order will arrive on monday with next day delivery :(.

So monday at earliest im afraid.
 
You should have no. For a Saturday delivery it should be despatched tomorrow. The only issue you might have is if you phone to late for them to get it ready for despatch.

If i was you i would call first thing.

Gah :( My own fault for not checking my emails! Thanks for the help.

<edit>How did you check? Just by trying to order something? I can choose "DPD Next Day Parcel Saturday" and get option for the 10th. Looks like it might be worth a call first thing just in case :) *crosses fingers*
 
As your paying for Saturday delivery, this will be dispatched tomorrow for delivery for Sat.

If you ordered for normal delivery then you will receive Monday.
 
Of course there is still time! All orders are next day dispatch, we can do orders on a Friday anytime up until 4pm and get it out on Saturday AM (8am-lunch) delivery..

Just call before 2/3pm tomorrow so they have time to package it.

Just so you know and don't get confused, when I say "we can do orders on a Friday anytime up until 4pm and get it out on Saturday AM (8am-lunch) delivery" - I was talking about my place of work (I don't work for OcUK). But generally most logistics procedures are the same for the majority of companies. :)

But yeah, just ring Oc before 2/3pm and they should be fine getting the order sent out that evening for Saturday.
 
Overclockers are pretty good at sorting delivery for next day, only once they failed me out of god knows how many orders.

Ah oops, this was for next day :cool:

My bad.

But if you did order for saturday delivery, it should be dispatched tomorrow for delivery on saturday.

But seems i've been beaten to that.

So i'll apologise for confusing you :D
