Saturday Delivery Query!

Hey guys/gals! A friend of mine just bought http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp...id=1080&subcat=&name="Titan Accelerator" 4850 at around 3pm today, and he ordered with Saturday delivery, and the delivery date came up as tomorow. The status of his order is "In our warehouse queue" at the moment, does this mean that it has not been dispatched for delivery tomorow? Or can he still expect a delivery?

If the goods have been dispatched he should have an email with the tracking details and the status will be complete.
 
I imagine it will take a few days to build and test before they send it. doubt you will see it until atleast Tuesday.
 
I am sure they used to have a message saying that their systems are built on demand and will take 48 hours + to be delivered.

Had a look and it seems some systems say 24-48 hours and some don't.
 
Hi... I have the same issue that I bought two items yesterday at around 12pm. Although its only a motherboard and graphics card. The website allowed me to choose Sat Delivery for today (30th Aug) but the items are still in warehouse queue :(
 
Surely items like motherboard etc, should be straight forward to get sent out on time unless they are understaffed or extremely busy, i would at least expected an email of apology.

Then i guess we allways sit on one side of the fence and never see what it's like to be the supplier, i guess with everyone being paid (month end) there was probably quite a few orders placed yesterday :)

Yes I agree.. Although its not good from a customer perspective when you pay extra for Sat delivery on a specfic day and its not honored.
 
Couriers charge more for delivery on Saturday, and Overclockers pass that cost on. If your item wasn't picked and packaged in time on a friday afternoon, I'm sure the difference between Saturday delivery and 'normal' courier costs will be refunded if you ask nicely :)
