Hi
Popped over Hanningfield reservoir again on Saturday and got the following shots...

Any C&C most welcome

I like them all, a great set of shots. The squirrel, or first robin are my favourites i'd say, but they're all very impressive.

The Canon 70-300 IS f4-5.6 is a very interesting lens, similar price to the 70-200 L f4 but with added range and 3rd gen IS. Seems to be getting good write-ups on-line and you're photos are looking pretty good.

I read some good reviews before I made my purchase

there are a few other 70-300 is lenses on this forum now :)

nice shots :) I think they would all benefit from a touch of post processing though, such as this, that i recovered a bit of the shadows and highlights on, sharpened and ran a slight S curve on:

I know it's not much different but i think it just makes it pop a bit more if you get me? Perhaps just personal preference though :)

I'll take the image down if you're not happy with me having it there though.

Tom.

stunning photos
really like them all

Thanks, I'm really pleased with these shots. Although I'm gutted I missed the feet of the Robin (shot 3) and the tip of the tail on the squirrel. I also need to play around more in PP... still nevermind eh. its all part of the learning process. Will go back again for the Robin as its been in the same place the last 2 weeks.

Thanks again for all the comments guys
