Strip it and clean the board with WD40 then alcohol cleaning spray.

I'm and electronic engineer and have done this before.

Though as you turned it on before doing this I suspect it's now beyond saving.

You won't be able to make a warranty claim on that you know. They have water detection stickers all over phones now
