Save specific video from WhatsApp

I want to save a specific video from WhatsApp into my Google photos. I've previously disabled the automatically backup option as it filled my Google photos with all sorts.

I can't see a simple option to do this, what am I missing?

On iphone you can do share > save

Open the video in whatsapp then tap the 3 dots, then click "Save" it then goes in Library/Whatsapp folder in Photos.
I have Backup turned off but it saved that one video to the folder.

You can also do it on WhatsApp Web. That's on any desktop or laptop using a web browser. Mouse-over the video and click on the downwards facing arrow. Then you can save it anywhere.
