Save Youtube video for ipad

Sorry if its been asked before but is there any way of saving youtube videos to the ipad to view offline.

Not sure if you're using a mac or pc, but Im using a plug in for safari on mac that saves the youtube video to iPad compatible video. I forget what its called, I think I got the link from Feek.

It basically adds a 'download' button under the YouTube video. Im not sure thats what you're after, but it works well, but adds another step to the process as you then have to to sync your iPad.
