...do some games insist on putting their saves in the most bizarro of places ?! I've never understood why they can't just keep them in the actual game directory in, ooo I don't know, a folder labelled saves perhaps.
All my games are on a separate drive to Windows and my gaming PC is only used for gaming, so there is no stuff in docs/pics etc and very little in the way of progs installed on C. Anyway had to do a re-install of Windows and almost forgot about saves in docs, but carefully backed it up at the last minute along with the saved games folder.
Of course, totally forgot about my Stalker SOC saves - I was about 75% of the way through playing with a tough mod, so a lot of hours spent on it.
It stores its saves in the public docs folder by default - which is now gone
This has made me an extremely sad panda
