Is there a way to do this?

Discovered a few tutorial videos I need but they play off this and some youtube videos. This is all well and good but my net isn't the most reliable, I travel a lot and have an hour commute to work each way i'd like to watch them in on my ipad.

Is there software which can essentially rip the videos out and let you watch them offline?

Stuck being hammered by work unfortunately and havent got a chance to check these. What happens if the url points to numerous videos on the same page, downloads them all or freaks out?

Does the FF plugin allow you to download a single vid on a page containing many for example?

Downloadhelper does. It puts an icon on one of the bars. If it detects a video or videos it can download, the icon switches from grey to coloured and is animated. Click on it and you get a list of available videos. Click on the one you want and save it. The only issue with multiple videos on a page can be determining which is the one you want - the names are set from the webpage, so they might be meaningless. If you start the one you want playing, it should show up bold on Downloadhelper's list.

Handy plug-in.

I am in a similar situation, tried the suggestions (and numerous others) but can't get jwplayer videos to download. Weirdly they don't even seem to be in my browser cache after I've finished viewing

any ideas?

Internet Download Manager is the one I use. Integrates into the shell and brings up a download button on webpages with video.

orbit downloader or the name was something like that...it lists the videos that can be downloaded on the page....usually the one you are after is the largest file.

Don't seem to work unfortunately

Whenever I try an application that requires pasting links, it doesn't detect the jwplayer video - all I get is a 10kb file
