I've been playing red steel on my Wii, however i am getting slightly annoyed at the whole saving game thing.
The game has many regular checkpoints, however when i reach a checkpoint then leave the game i never return back to that checkpoint, i go back to the checkpoint i started the game at.
I.e. i am on the island are where i have to go through the factory, i played it up until the bit where you have to go into those waste bins. I then quit the game.
Upon returning to the game i was at the start of the "level" on the beach bit.
Do i have to save the game anywhere? What are checkpoints for?!
