Saving games on Wii

Hi,

Just a quick one, does the Wii have a Hard Disk in it? i.e. Can I save games to the console straight out the box? Or do I need to get a SD Card for it?

It has built in flash memory, you can use that.

The SD is just for future expansion.

So I need a mem card to download games as well? How big are the game downloads? Does any SD card work?

the vc games can be downloaded straight to the wii's internal memory. theres 512mb so plenty of room.

up to 2GB afaik and i dont think you need it as the old games are very small

Thanks guys. Had a right old day, console from one site, wii play from another, points card another, nunchuck. Glad I dont need a card too just yet
