Saving my inividual folder settings?

My system seems to have decided to forget my view settings for each individual folder, In folder options I have "Remember each folders view settings" ticked, Is there something simple I've forgotten? :confused:

Done that , still doesn't save them!

Needle, it's not remembering any view setting at no matter how many files I seem to have?
