saving my profile for when i reinstall

i want to reinstall windows 7 but i borrowed a spyder 3 of a fellow forum member to calibrate my PITA monitor. is there any way i can save the profile and just put that profile back on with a usb stick etc etc when i've reinstalled.

or will i need the software again, the only problem i forsee is that you can't activate the software unless you have the calibrator plugged in. i imagine this is to stop people just using the software and getting profiles off friends or internet etc etc

Your Spyder3 icc profiles will be stored in your Windows folder at a location like this (Windows 7/Vista):

C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color

You should be able to load the ICC profile manually on your new system using the Color Management settings.
