Saving Sent Messages on Samsung D600?

I'm having problems trying to save my sent messages on my Samsung D600, on T-mobile network, i've searched the phone for ages, there doesn't seem to be any option to - yet there is a sent mail box!

Please help

I've put a German firmware on mine that auto stores sent text messages. Very handy after a drunk night when you can't remember what you were up to
