saving to dvd

This may seem stupidly obvious to some of you but i have not got a clue. I want to save a large amount of photos and some video to a dvd disc but i dont know how, i have saved to cdr before but want to put my whole photo libary on to disk for safe keeping. I there a simple(ish) way? (I have win xp). Thanks.

What you been using to burn to CD-R?

Hi
I use deepburner for backing photos and video to dvd's.
I found it more reliable than nero 6 not so many coasters.
