Saw an odd M5 today...

Was in Kensington today and saw a new shape M5 with a huge kit on it and a badge that I briefly saw that said something like Yanamina or something japanese sounding. Anyone any idea what this was? It was seriously overkitted up, a beautiful car should be left as is.

On a side note I also saw a new Bentley GT with the license plate "M1kes" (my name) :/

Sure it was a M5?

may have a 5 been tuned / "kitted" by a tuning house, or the japanese slurs could just be the name of the kit maker, or something under the bonnet.

Had the quadruple exhaust and the M5 badge so am guessing but didn't get to see the interior. The kit was so OTT it was difficult to tell what was underneath.

Maybe it was the Hartge one but am 90% sure it began with a "Y", surprised to see all of these people tuning M5's though, surely it can't make that much difference to an already overpowered car!?

Personally if I ever owned a M5 (which I will oneday), it would definately receive the Hartge treatment..

Knowing the London area, I'd say it was more likely "Halfords"

That said, I saw a DINAN M5 (e39) in Cricklewood and the same car again about 3 weeks later! Nowt Halfords about that one!

They havent down anything to the engine,most of the them just delimit the top speed,slap new wheels n bodykit on and sometimes change suspension.

dinan tend to supercharge but that was with the old V8

That's what I thought too, but you know what people are like at random stickerbranding.
