having just seen the 3rd film, it still doesn't tell us what happened to Dr Gordon? (unless i've missed it somewhere)

the last we saw of him, he left the main room with a battered foot, and said he was going to get help for adam..

had a look on imdb, and can't seem to find out :/

damn

and the possibility of saw 4 looks pretty bleak after the end of 3! (was poorer than 2, and that was poorer (although more shocking) then 1)

I might be wrong and it is a while since I've watched it (whenever it first came out was the last time properly) but I just assumed the psycho had followed him out and finished the job.

why do u care? lol

old lawro did the dirty and did one, he prob died of blood loss or summit.

i thought saw3 was wayyyyyy better then saw 2. way more gruesome and more ingenious traps then 2.

well they tied off the major loose ends, apart from him

the needles and getting number off the back of the neck is what i found really shocking in II

no one knows, but its pretty accepted that he died, its in the commentary of saw 2 that he died.

saw 3 was rubbish compared to 1+2

it just wanted to explain EVERYTHING, its better when things are left unanswered, leaves more to the imagination.

they should have left it at one film, has more of a wow-factor then :)

although on the other hand, i'm glad they made the others, looked forward to watching them

they had a much better job at the saw movies than the 'cube' films

cube 1 is good, but the other two are shocking!

I'm pretty sure in SAW 2 when the detective geezer gets inside the house, you see the body slumped against the wall in a corridor. Or am I having a funny turn?

well i hope you can, i've only seen saw 2 once, i just remember seeing that adam guy still tied to the pole

well the guy from no.1 proper survived, as if you've seen no.3 then you know the guy lets his victims live if they pass the test which he kind of did...

I enjoyed no.3

3 is better than 2 imo, didnt rate 2 atall. For those that say why didnt they leave it at 1 well its pretty obvious why, i mean saw 1 made a mint so why wouldnt they make a 2nd and 3rd. Its not as if they are going to make saw 1, then see it makes millions and then say aye forget it lads thats enough. Its a business just like anything else they are out to make money.

I could never take him seriously - I only looked at him as the 'overly nice guy' in Liar Liar (hey Max lol) or the guy from Robin Hood Men in tights!! lol great film!

If it makes money they there will more than likely be some more

That's what I was going to say. He must have got away, since he learned his lesson, and jigsaw always gave you the opportunity to live if you faced up to your faults, unlike in saw 3.

I hope he did live, I love cary elwes!

quoted for the untruth!

Aye.

He is definitely dead but without watching 2 and 3 again I don't know if we ever saw the body.

As to how good the films are well Saw 1 was genius and very good. Saw 2 tried to follow the same theme with another twisty plot but didn't work anywhere near as well as the first. Saw 3 was much more dumbed down and mainly gore with the plot thrown out of the window.

I fully expect Saw 4 to follow the same path as 3 and be much more about the gore rather than the plot.
