at the joiners in southampton. fantastic band. their stuff hasnt really aged at all, seeing as they started in 89 (when I was 7!!!)

bought their new album (released late 2004 IIRC) after the show as well. looking foward to listening to it tonight.

anyone else here a senser fan?

Yes mate, caught them on the "Stacked Up" tour, brilliant RATM style band, some brilliant riffs and not afraid to use the dance crossover style either. Didnt know they were touring again.

Last time I saw anything of them was the band "Lodestar" formed by ex-Senser Hithem Al Syed (sp?) and Senser bass player, they supported Tool many years ago.

How was the set?

more low end than anything I have heard ever in a 200capacity venue.
DJ was nuts, drummer is amazing live (always wondered how good he actually is after listening to the albums)

guitars were loud, vocals were crisp.

slightly more dancy than the stacked up days, but played at least 3 songs from each album, cos I recognised at least 6 songs.

thoroughly enjoyed it. lived up to my expectations (which were very very high).

Hopefully things ramp up for them again, and they can get some decent press etc. they should be playing big venues.

no they just seem to play locally to them! :)

the joiners in southampton was a change of venue. lucky for me.

migth roll in another show down s/w and visit family at the same time.

Blimey, I saw then back when I was at Liverpool Uni, around '91ish. So impressed I bought the album, glad to hear thay're still around.
