Further to the recent take over of James Irlam logistics by The Stobart Group....

Irlam’s 263 trucks will retain their distinctive red branding.

I'm scratching my head as to what they mean, I doubt many people would realise that the vehicle that had just passed them was anything to do with Irlams at a glance, I suppose they are a bit Red, perhaps, that's what they meant?
The latest additions to the Irlam fleet, distinctive - certainly. I'm not so sure about the Red mind you...

No complaints from this corner mind, the Scania "R Series" is a superb piece of kit, I can't wait to get my mitts on one.

I will have to change my username to R420 it appears, a Steady Eddie driver in all but name it seems..... :)

Deja vu.... :/

Why do they all have charver kids names?

*n

Every Eddie Stobart truck has a girl’s name especially chosen for it which appears on the front of the cab. The very first Eddie Stobart vehicle was named ‘Twiggy’ by Edward Stobart after the famous sixties model. This tradition has continued to the present day and we receive daily requests to name vehicles after wives, girlfriends and children. Club Stobart members can make a priority request to name their very own truck for free and with thousands of names on the list it certainly makes sense to join the members club simply for this reason. Further information on Club Stobart may be found at www.clubstobart.co.uk .

The tradition of naming Stobart vehicles continues through to the Stobart Motorsport rally cars. Now all you keen Stobart fans out there can ‘spot’ the rally cars throughout the season from British soil to right across the globe as far as Japan and Mexico. Why not see if you can catch all the Stobart Motorsport cars in action during the year.

Should name them after the last 2 letters of the numberplate in the phonetic alphabet.

Sounds so damn cool: "Go collect Kilo Yankee will you?"

You into something you're trying to quietly let out ?? Its cool to go get some KY ?? I guess it might be pretty apt considering the thread title :p
