Evening all,

Well having just done my first week doing a new job roll (apprentice baker) Friday & Today (Sat) were a challenge for me as I had to be up at 2am and I finished at 11am which was nice! But today (Saturday) I’m really tired , ive just had 4 hours odd sleep and its now 6:06 and the gf wants to do something (she lives 20mins away by car) but I don’t have the heart to tell her I just want to stay in tonight as I feel like dog just now even after a shower!.

Who else can’t say no to there gf ?

i get really moody when im tired, & well we went out lastnight n shes been out this afternoon with her family as its her mothers bday.

It’s not that I don’t want the company hell if I makes her happy id do anything , but I’m at the point where I don’t feel like doing anything as im tired. And I hate to let people down. As I know she will be bored the rest of the evening and she will just text and moan that she’s bored. & just to go to hers n fall asleep i find is pointless.

oh and the main reason she doesnt stay at mine , i have no double bed ..and tbh no way in hell am i sleepin in ma single bed..lol those days have gone..

decided not to see her tonight so ill have to take the cannon fodder!

I get up at 5am every day for work - it's ok once you get used to it. It just feels like you're a kid again going to bed early!

yeah my shifts have been all over the place this week i used to do 7-4 mon-fri

last week

5am-12pm / 4am - 1pm / 3am- 12pm so its been all over the place really.

I find saying no dead easy but then can't get out of whatever follows :

It's good to see you're taking the initiative to change your career a lot of people wouldn't bother.

I get up at 5am just because it's easier for me and it's the industry I work in, I couldn't do shifts! Horrid things!

Well i've been trying to get a job in I.T for the past year , and just wanted a change at work and the Bakery is the only place at the store i've not thought of working in(Sainsburys) ive not worked in

Yeah atm its been a week today i moved in the Bakery. i was health and safety trained today so i can use more equipment and gain more experience.

Allot of the bread, scones etc are bought in which I think is bad but its all used with the same ingredeiance which is used throughout the Bakery. Saving time I think is the main factor, but still have to sort them out and label them etc. But yeah it’s pretty much non stop all the way through
