Looking at ordering the system below (some from OCUK and some elsewhere due to availability and price):

Lian Li v1020 (Black)
Asus P8P67 PRO
Intel Core i5-2500K
Corsair XMS3 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 12800C9 (CMX8GX3M2A1600C9)
EVGA GeForce GTX 570
Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium - Fatal1ty Champion Series 7.1
Corsair HX650
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1TB
Plextor PX-890SA
Thermalright Venomous X with Scythe S-FLEX 1600RPM

Got some Arctic Silver 5, and an OS already (W7 Pro), will be looking to add an SSD later this year once the new Sandforce SSD controllers start coming out.

Thoughts and ideas are welcomed.

Hmm, possibly, stepping up to a HX750 is about £15 more, but also steps the Efficiency from 85% to 90%.

Though i don't think i'm likely to SLI in the future (and the 650 could probably cover it, maybe, ish), £15 is not much to pay to ensure I could if i ever wanted to.....

So many reviews to read, so little time.

Keep the ideas coming ;)

Problem is, it's new tech, read around the net and you will find people having all sorts of issues with every brand of motherboard be they the new 1155 boards or older ones.

I personally know 2 people who have the P8P67 and have had no issues at all, it's the old thing of only finding posts about problems, because those with none have no reason to post.

But I will take the note on board and do some more reading :)

Thanks

Am I looking at anything in particular? or just general GTX 570 SLI is higher performance than single cards and SLI of lower cards?
