SB limit before instability?

Hi Guys,

I've replaced the standard SB cooler with a Enzotech CNB-S1L but unfortunitely due to the way my case is laid out and the fact that the SB is between 2 X 4870s it's getting pretty hot - around 65C.

So at what temp should i be worried? Was thinking about replacing it with some sort of SB fan based cooler.

dont think sb is normally too fussy i know on some boards they go to fairly high temps anyway, normally its nb that doesnt like heat.

That's what i thought. Perhaps it's time to add the SB to the loop.

If you're stable, and you're not losing hard drives or other problems that can be traced to the SB I would not add it to the loop.

Unless, you want to prolong the life of your mobo, as 65 is quite high. If your loop can handle the extra heat dump, then add it.
