Planning to order parts for a new rig over the weekend, going for i7 2600k SB setup with 580GTX, want some nice 8gb ram to go with it...
don't plan on OCing ram and since I know I need dual channel narrowed it down to a few options, but not sure what the best approach is here, do i go for?
Price isnt really a problem so doesnt have to be the cheapest option. I understand timings but I'm not sure if the "c8 c9 etc" label is basically the same as timings or does it refer to a different specification?
cheers

- c7 lower timings like 7-8-7-24 1600mhz (G-Skill RipJaw for example) or
- faster 1866/2000Mhz with higher timings like 9-10-9-27 or
- forget all this and just take good old Kingston HyperX Genesis because it makes little difference as long as its a good make....or
- straight to the point and grab this 16GB set Corsair Vengance for the same reasons
