Hi Guys,

I've recently had my new gaming system for around 2 or 3 months now and everything has been great every game has run like a dream and temperatures have always been low. Recently though as of last week my Desktop has started to shut down shortly after being turned on, it can shutdown sometimes after 15 seconds and sometimes it will last 15 minutes. The error I get when I boot the machine back up is 'SB Over Temperature!!' press F1 to resume.

CPU remains cool along with the GPU, Northbridge is running at 41 degrees but the Southbridge is running at 90 degrees. I did have my system overclocked to 2.92ghz (intel i7 2.6ghz) so I decided to run it on stock but the same thing is happening, I also updated to the latest BIOS incase that might have been an issue.

My system specs:

Motherboard - Asus Rampage II Extreme
CPU - Intel I7 920
Memory - Corsair XMS3 1600 MHZ
GPU - Nvidia GTX 260

Will the motherboard or something need replaced? If somebody can give me any kind of idea I'd really appreciate it thanks.
