Hi all,
not used by pc for about 3 weeks.
Came to turn it on (to install BF4:hardline) and nothing, not a sqeak or peep!
Typical!
Did the usual of changing power cable checking other plugs etc.
Noticed the SB_PWR button flashing green.
The pc is the one in my sig. The PSU is the newest component in the rig and i'm hesitant to blame that right now, although the SB_PWR light flashing often means an overcurrent on the 5v rail, so i unplugged the USB hearders, but it made no difference.
So i guess i need to check the psu out too.
Due to the mitx case everything is a ball-ache to move etc.
More googling seemed to hint that Asus boards tend to have this problem more than others.
Shoddy asus support gave me generic crap to try; take battery out, take cpu out, check pins (****
)
They also stated that the warranty lies with the reseller, ie OCUK. The product has a 2yr warranty, i bought it just over a year ago.
Are OCUK likely to honour this if i can't find a fix for it?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers
