AFAIK that means he needs to serve at min 85% of that time so just under 19 years if he's a good boy. Judge was quite scathing about him calling him out for his lies and evasive behavior in the trial but SBF is very fortunate he wasn't given what the Probation Department or Government recommended:

Yup, I did wonder too.
Probation department 105 year recommendation, prosecutors 40-50 years... judge proceeds to blast him for a while, calling out his lies, rules he committed perjury a bunch of times and dismissing his appeals for leniency... then dishes out 25 years.

You can apply for parole after a 1/3 of your sentence but its not automatic like many states and he'll likely serve every day.
Nope, that's not correct. You're forgetting about good behaviour; you can get 15% knocked off ergo he might only serve 85% as I already positioned out in the OP.
That's been pointed out a couple of times, but for some reason, the Colonel has decided that prison sentence = serving every single day when that often doesn't really happen because of time knocked off for good behavior etc.
Again, as already pointed out a few times now (including in the OP) that's incorrect. Unless you misbehave then it's 85%

That's the result of The Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994.
This is further clarified by:
The standard is 54 days per year knocked off if the prisoner doesn't misbehave or basically 15%
If you're going to carry on disagreeing with that then cite your source, lack of parole doesn't negate the reduction for good behavior... so what's the basis for your claim that he'd serve every day of it when the relevant legislation clearly says otherwise and sets out an automatic reduction so long as he behaves?
