SBLive Digital Problem. HELP!

When playing music lately the track (and Vids) will randomly freeze, repeating the last say 300ms of the track for 1-2 seconds then just continue as normal.

This "Freezing" also locks up windows for the 1-2 seconds...

Removed the old drivers properly, reinstalled the drivers, still problems... Im running it in a Shuttle SK43G with a VIA motherboard...

I hear the card can hog the pci bus a fair bit, but im not using any onther pci device...

Any Ideas Guys?

Is it sharing resources with any other hardware? Even if it's the only PCI card, it can still ending sharing an IRQ with the AGP slot. Have a look in system information->hardware resources->conflicts/sharing. If necessary try it in another slot.

I remembered i had slightly overclocked, causing the instability when anything remotely intensive was running...
