Hi

We can't get mail for exchange working on our nokia phones. Our IT support company say that the settings they have given us are correct & it must be a fault with the phones & our phone supplier says it's a fault on the server side.:(

Thes settings we have are:-

· Username: as domain login

· Password: as domain password

· Domain: oursite.co.uk

· Secure connection: No

· Access point: Contract Wap

· Sync while romaing: Yes, always

· Use default port: Yes

· Exchange server: xx.xx.xx.xxx (our static IP)

Do these settings look correct to you?

The error in the log on the mobile phone is:-

Status: invalid username or password. checkl the username or password in profile>credentials

Please help!

I don't know if it's relevant but we access webmail using https://webmail.oursite.co.uk/exchange

How do you have the authentication working on the webmail access? do you default it to a domain or do you rely on the user entering domain\username?

We enter our domain username/password

Using a root signed certificate or a self signed one?
How do I tell?

When using webmail I always get the 'There is a problem with this website's security certificate.' page but I've always had this.

MFE did work for a week and we then changed ISP to and it stopped working. The IP we use in the MFE settings is the new one.

I wonder if our support company read OCUK!

They have sent an email saying they made a mistake and gave us the wrong settings!

The changes to the settings I posted are:-

domain - leave blank
exchange server - webmail.oursite.co.uk

Sorry for wasting your time guys but I appreciate that you tried to help me
