SBS 2008 backup

The documentation for the backup built into SBS 2008 (presumably the same as Server 2008) quite sensibly recommends having multiple external disks so you can rotate them between onsite and offsite locations.

Does anyone know what happens if multiple external disks (probably with different last incremental backups) are available when the backup starts?

I've just done a bit of testing. It looks like it treats the most recently attached device as the active target.

Late last night I was wondering if I could have two drives semi-permanently attached (one local and one iSCSI) and have it keep them both up to date.
