Had a lot of issues with this one server.

Cusatomer wanted a new user setup, it fails creating the mailbox as theres an issue between AD and Exchange.

Just recently they haven't been receiving e-mails. There are no returned errors, not delivery recepits returned, they can send, outlook connects fine, even owa doesn't sho new mail, and nothing in the queues or tracking to say they received them.

MS have asked to try loads of stuff, I think it boils down to an IPV6 issue. I try and run the Fix my Network, two things show.

--IPV6 The netwirk card does not have a static IPV6 address, this can cause issues.
--Router can't be configured.

Router isn't the issues, its the ipv6, if I let it run it won't stop, juts runs and runs and runs.

How can I try and force it, how to I know what to manually assign it? If I remove card, reboot, reinstall will it fix it running Fix my network again?

I'm on the verge of re-building it if I can't fix it this morning. :(

edscdk - you hit the nail on the head. domain expired on the 18th May so mx record is incorrect. My colleague is sure he checked it though, I wonder if it just hadn't updated so it looked correct at the time.

Rob - ipv6 was disabled at some point, it is now enabled, its setup as dhcp, not static. imo because a few people have looked at it the servers a bit of a mess and needs re-building. Nice clean install, SP1, all the rollups etc.

Thanks guys, e-mail problem solved.
