SC2 Ladder wipe

Do they? I dont recall a ladder wipe since beta :confused: and that was to do with testing as they refined their servers..
 
Well I'm told by a reliable Diamond player that there will be a 'stat wipe' soon and I don't want to try too hard to rank up if there is.
 
I think they are planning to have seasons, and at the end of each season the ladders will be wiped. Your previous seasons will be saved in your profile to view.
 
blizzcon dev panel confirmed seasons with a stat reset and 1 placement match to determine a league change.
 
I very slowly worked my way from Bronze to high Gold, so can't say I'm happy about this depending on how it'll be done. Then again, I've been struggling to break into Platinum so maybe this'll be a good opportunity :D
 
thing is if you've worked your way from lower leagues to higher leagues it measn you've improved, so probs won't find yourself being placed in the lower leagues. even if you do get placed there, it won't be hard at all to work your way back up.
 
There has been a impending stat wipe for the last 3 months. Everyone knows that Blizzard are going to start 'seasons' with 'prizes' and your going to have to do one more placement game when the ladders are wiped.

Apparently your hidden rating doesnt get wiped tho. So even if you lose your placement your probs go back into the same league.
 
Its not based on how many matches you play, more so on how many you win comparred to lose, and the level of your opponant.. well thats how its MEANT to work :D
