Scalebound cancelled

I agree with that, it never looked like my sort of thing. Nobody was talking about this game till it got canned.

MS's choices on exclusives have been a little weird this time round, not really sure what they have been aiming at.

Sunset overdrive was another one, and though it played better than i thought when it appeared on GWG it never appealed to me from the marketing. Same with Recore didn't peak my interest.

This game was never even close to being on my radar or any of my friends when were were discussing the E3 trailers after it was announced.

Upon reading this I totally understand and relate to it. I feel in a similar way with 'Horizon Zero Dawn' on PS4. They keep banging on about it but I've seen or heard nothing about it which makes me want to play it.

Probably didn't live it to Platinums standards

I'm sure if that was the case Platinum would have wanted to cancel it, but the decision was Microsofts. Probably wont go down to well with Platinum and I bet they wont be in any hurry to work with MS again.

If Sony or Nintendo Can Pick Up Scalebound, Should They?

tbh Sega should published it as multiplatform game if platinum games own the IP

Indeed, would be an interesting coup if Sega/Nintendo could bring it back onboard for Switch. Nintendo and PG have worked together before, so it could work. Nintendo would probably give the director a bit more free reign to make the game as he intended; sounds like the differing 'directions' for the game is part of the vehicle that scuppered it.

Wonder if they've even considered it?

Doubtful considering Microsoft own the IP.
