Scalpers Hitting PSU's now

I just saw a company selling a Corsair 850W PSU for £500! So it looks like insanity is hitting power suppliers too.

How do you know it sold? Nobody is buying that for £500...

There are several stores selling them at that sort of price. None of the reputable stores I might add. I guess if there are people prepared to pay £1500 for a 3080 then there are people prepared to pay an extra £500 to power them.

If people are actually paying that for a 850w PSU then they clearly have more money than sense. I’ve just done a search and it seems they’re available at far less?

I confess I was only looking for the Corsair RM850i, and while there are plenty of places selling them at less, few actually have any stock.
