Just been speaking to a guy at work who said he randomly searched for his address via google and he happened across a business using his address on their website.

They are supposed to sell mobile phones and are blatantly a scam website

1/ The address they are apparently registered at is in Scotland (my friend's address)
2/ The e-mail address they have is Italian
3/ The currency they use is USD
4/ They do not accept credit cards or paypal only Western Union, Bank Transfer etc

I suggest people google their home address to make sure their address is also not getting used for these purposes.

My friend is currently contacting some places to make sure the person hasnt tried applying for things using his home address (credit checking also)

They used a .cc.cc website address so we are unable to Whois the website. But we have managed to find the website which provides the domains thanks for wiki.

I put my parents address in and a website claims it was sold in 2004 for £395,000 lol, my parents bought it over 20years ago :p

Heh, I just tried this and there is a company registered to my home address, the name of the company is the surname of the previous owner so they must have forgotten to change it or the company websites are out of date. I'll look into it - cheers!

Not sure what can be done to sort it out, but my friend has made a few phonecalls to try and get it taken down.

oh **** just realised one of my domain hosts has put my address up on my domain... Never used to be there >.<'

Nothing bad but found this out which I didn't know:

but one individual Tree Preservation Order has been made to especially protect the large landmark sycamore in the field behind "my house" believed to have been planted in 1795
