I DIDNT GET ONE,WHY SHOULD I PAY A DELIVERY GHARGE WHEN THEY FAILED TO SHOW UP WITH MY PARCEL...IS **** AT IT

Cleaned up.

1) no mentioning competitors
2) I'm not sure accusing anybody of a scam is a good idea
3) look up DSR regs, although you may have to have received it for that to count - IANAL!

Can you also go through it and change it from capitals to lowercase and add in punctuation please? :p

But yeah, Getting told you have to pay postage when you havent recieved it seems a little bad. But come on, Look out the window, The weather is terrible! How can you expect deliveries in this. You'd be better off just being patient and waiting on the delivery. Rather than cancelling

What a scam not delivering in this weather!

Should have bought from ocuk...they teleport your order to you

You realise they aren't courier company so the delivery has nothing to do with them? And its not like they aren't going to deliver it at all and just steal you money.

Hmm trouble is now is that if you just read the opening post it could almost be someone whinging about ocuk's service and charges.

lol exactly! But in all honestly, doesn't it seem a tad harsh to cancel the order just because of a late delivery? i mean you'll still get what you're after, just later. Whats the point in canceling it just to reorder the stuff from somewhere else. Personally i would have thought it was common sense not to order anything this week because of the bad weather? Fair enough if you have no windows, tv, have agoraphobia and the only website you can view is ocuk and this other "competitor", then i could understand your annoyance.

I ordered some stuff (at the same time) earlier in the week from OcUK and another place - the OcUK order turned up next day despite the weather the other one took another 2 days (despite paying for next day priority - which was probably expecting a little much in this weather) :S

why did you cancel? seems a bit silly

You'd probably have it tomorrow if you didnt, but now you'll have to pay the delivery, order it from somewhere else and then wait for them to deliver it.

I think you need to smoke some of your namesake and chill out a little.

While it is frustrating your parcel is delayed try putting things in context. The whole transportation network across the country is a mess with all the snow and ice.

You can always cancel the item under DSR when it arrives and receive your original postage but do you really want to do that when you actually have the item in hand..

Well, At the start of the week I ordered some  and a ;) from :D:D:D, and it was all delivered by :):):) on Tuesday, amidst the snow.

Huzzah!

P.S. sorry to make light of it, OP - I do have sympathy as I hate it when things like this go wrong. But caps lock reduces sympathy by 85%, so levity is allowed.

I thought "Up North" was some kind of Arctic hell hole at the moment? Or is it flooded..? It's usually one or the other. :p

One would assume there would be some delays.

Be nice to the company you ordered from, occasionally they can be sympathetic. :) When it comes to the postage part, they are the customer, not you. There's a chance they will get on to the courier company and start moaning.
