My dad is having interesting problems with using his scanner recently. When I open up the precision scan LTX software used to scan in files the desktop for some reason resets to a really low resolution (640x480) from the standard 1024x768. It does let me then reset the resolution but it is bit annoying. Anyone got a clues as to why this may be happening and any fixes? I have tried re-installing software and drivers to no avail. The computer is a fairly old dell machine with a 2.8P4 and running XP SP2. Any help much appreciated.
