Hi there,
I'm just tidying up my new Vista install on my computer and I've released that the software that can with the scanner isn't working too well with Vista. The scanner is a Genius 1200 Colorpage Slim and I can't get the damn software working.
I've managed to install the drivers OK for the scanner itself, and under Device Manager the scanner is installed perfectly and working fine. However when I load the software it reqognises the scanner but won't do anything with it... despite me running the software in XP Service Pack 2 mode... so technically it should be OK as it thinks it's running on XP.
Does anyone have any suggestions, or perhaps know of free scanner software that will simply let me scan in an image? I've got Photoshopp and do all my image editing in there so I literally need a way of getting the image onto the computer and that's it.
Any advice is appreciated.
