Ive gone with the 3490, managed to find it new for 55quid deliverd so im pleased

Seems a nice scanner.

Just finished setting up the scanner (Epson 3490) and its really great. Really pleased with the image quality.

I only installed the driver (EpsonScan?). Is it worth installing any of the other Epson software - I know there is a few.
