scared to overclock

hi, I need some help. I have built a new rig with the followibg:
asus p5b delux wifi
e6600
ocz 2gig 6400 4 4 4 15
frezer 7 pro.

I dont know a lot about overclocking but i want to take this rig a bit further. I recently had it at 3.4ghz but chikened out and set it back to stock as i was unshure of settings with ref to vcore mem volt mem speed ect. Any advice will be appreciated.

Yep, read sticky. This is how I started but just seems so many settings on mobo I am getting a bit confused. Like when i do up thye FSB do i leave my memory at the overclocked rate or do i bring it down to spec.
