scart through composite?

i want to get a freeview box for my tv, but the scart socket is broken. is there a way i can connect it through the yellow composite video-in port on the front of the tv? :confused:

Most freeview boxes i have seen only have scart sockets on them but you can get adapters that will use the composite sockets.

but the thing in that picture seems to be composite to scart, whereas i would need scart to composite. do they exist?

yeah that's why it has the switch on there. you can swap between scart >> outputs and inputs >> scart

They can be bought from a number of places like electrical stores,pc vendors and some supermarkets.Should be upto about £5 or there abouts.
