Scart to DVD question

Ok I am nearly there with my setup thanks to the help on here

Just a quick question re a scart to DVD.

I have a QED AV41 TV > Freeview box so I guess another AV41 would be ok? TV > DVD.

Reason I ask is TV scart (EXT1) is RGB, A/V

EXT2 (for the DVD) is A/V, S-video.

You should really try to get them both plugged into the RGB scart on the TV for best results. Splitters/switches are readily available but I can't really recommend one to you.

Unless your freeview box has a passthrough scart input on it by any chance?

Yes I suppose a splitter/switcher is an option.

To be honest I tried the AV41 in EXT2 for DVD a picture quality seemed ok for me..........so I ordered another AV41.

Freeview box just has TV and VCR scart inputs (Topfield TF5800T).
