What are your scary experiences of Halloween?
For me, I was around 10 or 11 years old, so a long time ago. My friend and I were out Trick or Treating. Back then, in the early 80's, this was fairly unknown in the UK so we didn't get much. We went to one house and after knocking on the door, this very old woman came to the door and most terrifyingly, was completely naked. In retrospect, she reminded me of the old, dead woman Jack Nicholson was kissing in The Shining. This was pretty scary and unpleasant. My friend and I beat a hasty retreat. Perhaps she was a witch after all?*
*To be clear, I don't believe in the Supernatural and think it's all nonsense. I think she was probably just senile.
