SCCM Question

I've just recently got SCCM setup and running, i'm still testing the WSUS part at the moment but i need something clarifying.....

If i've created a set of patches to deploy, when i go to the schedule section i can make it available at a particular date and time or as soon as possible, this bit i get. My problem though is the part where it asks wether i want to set a deadline.

Is this deadline a time and date when it will install, ignoring maintenance windows that are available between now and the deadline time and date OR does it mean install it by this date at any available maintenance window?

I'm hoping it's the latter.

Thought that might be the case, else there's no way of telling i to use WOL, shall see how tonights updates go, i've got them setup to intall updates every evening from 7 - 12 at the moment, hoping to get SP1 rolled out to all windows 7 clients asap
