Scenes from Lynchburg

Oh right.

Whats the going price on "jayDeeeeeeee" these days? 70cl bottle. Or can you recommend a nice malt for £25 or less.

Look at Dahlwhinne at £28 quid. A single malt from the speyside region, very smooth and it doesnt have any peaty tastes to it, which some people say all single malts should have it to make a single malt unique.

Jack Daniels = mass produced sheugh water in a fancy bottle.
Get yourself a decent single malt and you'll never go back to JD. Which one to go for depends on your individual taste preferences of course.

Jack Daniels is vile, people only drink it because it has a cool name, it tastes disgusting.

I have a bottle of 'Scenes from Lynchburg", and not only is it stronger than normal JD, it tastes much nicer. I can't stand drinking normal JD unless I drown it in coke, the Lynchburg stuff is quite nice. I wouldn't say it was nicer than some cheaper Whiskeys (or Whiskys) that you can buy, but it certainly isn't just normal JD.

edit: This is the one I have, Number 7 'The visitors centre'

Get off your whisk(e)y ( ;) ) high horse and accept that some people (including me) like bourbon.
