Scheduled task not waking up W7 PC

I have a scheduled task to run at 3pm every day so my backup can be finished before I come home from work.

Every so often the PC won't wake up.

I have checked the tasks and it says it ran, there are also events in the event log for that time, but the computer didn't wake up.

I just have a simple "cmd.exe /c exit" running as the action, and have checked 'Wake the computer to run this task".

It works most days, but once or twice a week it doesn't.

Any ideas?

I had a play with the AcSettingIndex and DcSettingIndex settings today. I've read these are the timers that will tell the computer to go back to sleep after x seconds if it has been woken unattended.

I set them both to 15 minutes now, which gives my backup time to start. I received my usual backup confirmation emails, however when I got home the PC was sleeping .

I've set these to 0 now, so we'll see what happens!
