Control Panel > Admin Tools > Task Sched.![]()
Thanks, i have that but i cannot find shutdown.exe ! I have searched and see an exe in system32 but it does not make my system to shut down.
Sorry to be a pain guys![]()
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32
double click it and see what happens?
LOL, I thought you mean the Task Sched.
AFAIR, its NTshutdown.exe or such (you must have seen windows or an AP calling for this before).![]()
Firstly you need to make sure that you can see hidden folder names, open any folder then click Tools > Folder Options > View > Hide extensions for unknown file types (make sure this is unticked)
Now you will need to create a .txt file and inside it write “shutdown /s /f /t 55”
Now you need to save and exit and then rename the file shutdown.BAT
This will turn it into a batch file and if you double click it will shut the pc down giving you a 55 second warning
Put this somewhere safe and point the windows scheduler to it so that it shuts the pc down
Hi
